As a valued client you get a secure, password protected portal as your online backup or to exchange your important financial documents with us at anytime.
This portal also allows us to work together efficiently by securely (128 Bit Encryption) exchanging copies of tax returns and W-2's with you in Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF) format. Working documents, scanned receipts and very large QuickBooks files can also be exchanged.
If you are sending us a file from QuickBooks , please send us the file in the following order of preference:
1. Send us the Accountant's Copy file directly from within QuickBooks if you have 2009 or newer
(Do Not use this portal)
2. Send us a portable company file using QuickSend (Click to go to this page)
3. Send us a company backup file using QuickSend (Click to go to this page)
NOTE: The options to create these files are available in QuickBooks under the file pull down menu

Client Portal / Secure File Exchange Instructions for setup:
Set Up Client Portal:
- Go to our website: www.chcydirect.com
- Click the Resources link on the left side of the page
- Click the Client Portal option
- Click “register here” to set up your portal
- You will be given instant access to the portal, but can not see or use the Secure File Vault until we turn it on for you. This is a security measure.
Enter Client Portal: (After we notify you that your account has been activated)
- Go to our website: www.chcydirect.com
- Either click the Login button at the top corner of the web page or follow steps 2-3 above
- Enter your e-mail address and password you previously set up
- Click Login
- Click Secure File Vault (See point 5 above under Set Up Client Portal)
- ** Make sure the file you are going to upload is not currently open on your computer in any application.
- Click the Upload button
- Click the Browse button and find the file you want to transfer. Double click the file, or click the file once and click “Open” in the lower right corner of the window.
- Wait for the file to be uploaded before you exit the vault.
- Let me know you have saved a file to the vault
